Wow, 200+ people showed up Wednesday night. That's three times the amount of onlookers out of any other Wednesday of the Budweiser competition. No, we did not win, congrats go to PH8 for putting on an excellence performance and taking the win. We did, however, have the largest crowd and an awesome response. This was our first show since May... YIKES! After Wednesdays performance, we added multiple sponsors to the CD Release Party.

We're working to keep you all updated with things that are happening lately! Currently we are in negotiations with Cal Productions and City Limits in hopes to pin down an exact date for our CD release party. As it stands now, we are looking at early December. ST managed to score some video equipment so we'll be doing our own editing and hopefully be getting that video done by the time of the release party. Also... we haven't been practicing much lately because we are currently building a new jam room. That's right... we've been doing it for the past 2 months and we're almost done!! This will free up some funds for us to spend on other things.... whoo hoo for us and you because we'll get more merchandise!

Well, as unfortunate as it may seem there is good reason why we cancelled our two upcoming shows. Our drummer (Larson) and bass player (Drawz) landed jobs as EMT's after passing the EMT exam. Some of you may know that it is difficult to pass the exam the first time but these guys did it. The reason for the show cancellations is because they are going to have to work on a Friday and Saturday up till December which will most likey be our CD Release party. So we aren't out of the music world... just taking our time to jump back in. Stay Tuned cause there will be more to come!! ST has been working on a new DVD which will feature a number of performances by us as well as some rather hilarious outtakes!!

In the words of ST... You may notice that our forums don't appear to exist any longer... So we will be working on a new forum that we can control - so that people who don't pay their bills won't effect us anymore. But in the meantime, feel free to talk some shit to us in the guest book or go check out our MySpace account at www.myspace.com/blynd and listen to some new shit and leave some comments.

There should be some updates coming soon about the CD - the Release Party - and the "This Old Shack" special edition... We're doing some remodeling and building ourselves a nice comfy practice room right now - and we'll share some photos and info about what we've done. It might be helpful for those of you out there who are musicians and wanting to soundproof your own practice area from the outside world. Stay Tuned!!

The mastering of the album is finished finally! We are trying to pull funds to get this shit printed. Unfortunately we don't have any sort of financial backing so we pay for this out of our own pockets. This means that it could be another couple months before the CD is finalized and ready to be shipped. We are planning a CD Release in which the location will be announced. In the meantime, look for some new marketing materials to surface. Check out Medic-Hate which was just released as well on our Myspace account!

By the way, a HUGE shout out to Jason Blake and Avalanche studios. That guy is a genius on the computer. Using his skills and our ear, we're pretty sure you'll be happy with the new album!!

So, we have pretty much got the CD mastered. We are in the finalization process now which incorporates adding the details to the final master. What those details are will be heard when the final CD is released. We are still waiting on a couple of quotes back from some printers so we can send these off to get printed and pressed. Yeah, that costs more money so donations are gladly accepted ;) We'll be posting a new sample here soon of the mastered audio. Hopefully that will happen some time this week... come back soon to hear!

Seems like we're staying pretty consistent with doing news updates every month... lol! It's about time we give you another update. The CD is coming along and we are entering the mastering process. We have set a deadline for completion which is super close. Of course, once we complete the CD, we will have to send it off to get printed. Once we get a mastered copy, we promise to give you a preview and another song to further heighten the anticipation most of you are expressing to us. It's taking so long because we don't want to put something out there that isn't comparable to every other signed band out there who have hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend on recording. Well, it will be close anyway ;)

Well looky here... we haven't done any sort of news in awhile. Well let us take the opportunity to thank all the bands that played on Saturday and a special thanks to Ph8 for inviting us to play. The show went much better then expected! There were about 3 fights during our set. Not that we encourage violence but it was inspiring to see everyone down there getting into the music. We played a kick ass set and flat out had a good time. For those of you who didn't make it... well... WTF, you better come next time! So we are still working on the new CD. Yes yes yes... you will here us say that a few more times before it actually comes out. We may do more shows or may not for awhile because of the CD. We really need to get it done so your ears have some new food. We want it just as much as all of you so keep checking back with us. The show on the 16th was off the hook! We didn't have a huge crowd by the end of the evening but everyone was moshed out from when Father Brennan took the stage to Gridlokt leaving the stage. That was 9 bands of moshing craziness. Great job Gridlokt on another successful show! We had a blast playing with all the bands and everyone seemed to get along with the exception of a few fights... one of those during our set... lol. So... we are STILL in the studio. For those of you unfamiliar with our CD process from the past, this isn't uncommon for us. We are just picky and pay attention to the slightest detail. We want the CD to sound like our live show or close to it. We currently don't have any shows at the moment but there are a few in the works. Stay tuned and hit it us up with questions. Thanks to those of you who made it to the Battle yesterday. Yeah, there was pretty much no one there though. Easter is not a good time to have a show. Heh, props to the jazz musician judges who got wasted off their asses to watch a bunch of metal bands tear it up! We didn't win but it was good times to play with our friends. Congrats to Conscious Collective out of Phoenix. They are a pretty sick ass rap rock band. Check em out! Next up... a big show on the night of Club Crawl at The Rock! So if you are under age and can't go to Club Crawl... well then why the hell don't you come to the special event we're gonna have which will feature 10 of the heaviest f'in bands in the Southwest! $10 at the door ALL AGES... alcohol for 21+... there's no excuse... be there!

The show was an awesome time! There were people coming from all around to see us. That just plaing KICKS ASS!! We really hope to see all of you again and we will play in SV again. On another note, the guestbook is starting to get a few hits from Europe and China. They have just started playing our stuff in China so we are seeing the results. The new CD is still in progress. Everyone in the band has been busy and we have been writing new music as well. Heh, too bad this stuff isn't going to make it on the new CD but isn't that how it always goes?? Today we'll be back in the studio trying to get this damn thing done but what can we say.... things like this take serious time unless we just wanted to half ass our way through it. Just released... the first official single from the new album Static is now available to listen to! The song is called 'Reaching Back'. This mastered version was mastered for radio play and not necessarily as a final version for the CD.

All of last years news has been moved to the archive. Time for some new stuff! We have been asked more times then we can count when our next show is... well the answer is we don't have anything planned just yet. The new CD has our time consumed and so have a few other developments. The rumor is that we MAY (stressing that point) be going on a tour overseas. This tour would be approximately 1 month long and take place in Shanghai, China. This wouldn't be posted if it hadn't reached serious stages of the process. It's very exciting news for us as well as major promoters and government officials in China (yeah... that's no BS). We'll post more as we get new developments. Needless to say, we've put a rush on this CD. Aside from that... where the hell are all you?! We still have forums and a guestbook that we watch daily... post something... ask us questions... share naked pics of your mom (as long as she's hot)!

12.15.03 · Great time in Phoenix. Unfortunately there was an unforseen concert taking place the same night as the show but nonetheless we had a great time and everyone kicked ass. We want to give thanks to those bands that made it on short notice, Innisfail, Wandas Last Hour, and Distorted. Also a shout out to Namaste and Mike of Code Blue Promotions and Dramapatrol Productions. Damn it was a cold bitch but we pulled it off! Thankz again to those who came from Tucson!!

The only problem was that it sat down a couple doors from some ritzy ass club filled with turtlenecks, diamonds, jackasses, and martinis. Heh... Scottsdale... go figure! 11.03.03 · Well what can we say... this last week has been amazing! From the Phunk Junkeez show to the show in Sierra Vista! Each and every show was insane and so was each and every person. Thanks for the huge support for all of you who could make it to the Rock and thanz to all the kidz in SV that got down to our shiat! Mad propz to Kent of the Rock and Steve of the band Numb in Sierra Vista for making these shows happen. It was truly a weekend to remember! Next, we are setting up shows in Phoenix. It's about time we get things rolling there again. Check the shows page for more to come. Pics from the Sierra Vista show should be coming soon. Also, the music video is posted but it's HUGE in size (40 megs). I'm trying to compress it without having major quality loss but no luck yet. - Rocky Point... Mexico.... drinking.... FUN!! I would have to say this was one of the funnest shows ever. With 58 people, a keg, and three bands... we headed to Puerto Penasco. Yes yes folks... we managed to empty the keg before we hit the border so you can only imagine when the fun all started! With a few minor hiccups, we made it to the beautiful blue 87 degree ocean with Margaritas in hand! The humidity was a bitch but the one good thing about it was that we sweat out all the alcohol which allowed us to drink till the wee hours of the morning the next day. The show went very well with all bands sweating their asses off but still able to deliver the goods! Thanks once again to Parasite and Fevered Dreams.... NEXT... Lake Havasu!!! And who says the party's over... HELL NO!! It's only just begun because Havasu goes off more on Labor Day weekend then it does for Spring Break!
